Recycling as an art-form: a journey towards renewal

Sensitive to the waste and destructiveness of our consumer lifestyle, I chose to work only with materials which have been forgotten, thrown away, or rendered obsolete.
My creations are founded on my perception of textures and colours, on how best to blend the visual and the tactile.
My inspiration comes from the sensations these materials evoke, and my work is the result of creative impulses deep inside. My passion is to explore the infinite possibilities that exist to breathe new life into old fabric. Time stands still; I am aware only of the thrill of discovery and the work of my hands as they follow my instincts, reshaping and renewing, bringing a unique message of hope:
